So, anyone guess who this secret radio admirer is? It's none other than Buzz Bennett as a teenager. Note the giveaways: the Wollensak reel-to-reel from the school AV Club, scads of tapes ready to use, his own typewriter, and a snazzy outfit.
How did he do the time travel to get that 70's KRIZ Rainbow sticker on his wall (behind him)? That Buzz. Always ahead of his time.

From out of the middle of the aircheck, Jeff records a live message to "Alan in Kansas City"... could it be?
First, incredible timing of the end of the Theme from Five-O and the 2-part KENO jingle. Then, right at the very end of the next bit, a really quick reference to Jay Stevens (not really sure what he says...), who might have been Alan when he was in Kansas City (maybe?) Just stuff I always wondered about...
